    Welcome to week one of exploring the 5 Klesahs (obstacles) with Madison.  The Klesahs are the hindrances of the mind that stop us from achieving inner peace. We all experience these hindrances in some form or another. Yoga is a practice designed to help us clear these obstacles so that we can achieve a state of peace and live our lives as we truly are. In this class we go through the first and most important obstacle – ‘Ignorance’ You will need a Yoga mat, a bolster (pillow), a blanket, a strap (belt/towel) and two blocks (two books).     In this class we are practicing our ‘concentration’. Singleness of thought. One movement, one breath and one thought at a time. Our senses are usually the things that distract us when you try to be ‘present’ or ‘mindful’ – so in this class we will use our senses to practice concentration. This is the key to meditation and to being present within each moment of your life! You will need your yoga mat, a bolster, two blocks and maybe a blanket for support. Namaste x

    In this Dharma Yoga class we are observing the three parts of the mind, how they act on their own and how they interact together.  This is a great practice to do for self study and getting to know yourself/your mind.
